We are glad to celebrate the 40 -th Anniversary of Nautical Institute together and Ukrainian Branch is proud to be a part of such respectable organization
In view of this celebration we arranged seminar "Modern shipping: problems and possible solutions", dedicated to the 40-th Anniversary of Nautical Institute and to the 10-th Anniversary of Ukrainian Branch International Maritime journal “Sea Review”. The Seminar took place on the 23-rd of November with support of Russian Register of Shipping and International Law Service Company. More than 40 participants took part in the Meeting (members of the NI, head of Crewing and Shipping companies, Marine Educational Centers and Marine Administration).
There were seven presentations at this Seminar, the participants took active part in discussions on the important issues of modern shipping, like Manila Amendments to STCW, MLC Convention 2006, BWM Convention 2004, Arrest of Ships and others.
The information about this event was circulated in Ukrainian media: journals Sea Review, Ports of Ukraine, newspaper Seafarer of Ukraine.
We received a very positive feedback about this event and very best wishes for future to The Nautical Institute from our Members and Colleagues.
Participants of the Seminar conveyed there congratulations to HQ on the matter of 40-th Anniversary, mentioning that NI plays an important role nowadays in the improving safety and quality aboard the ships, in education of the seafarers and representation of their interests at all levels (including IMO).
Ukrainian Branch Committee joins to these congratulations and also wishes all the best to the Nautical Institute members in all deeds.
